| The changing of video from analog to digital has created advantageous conditions for video transmisson and storage.But the original digital video have a higher bandwidth,so video compression and network transmission is becoming an inportant technology under the premise of ensuring the video image clarity, smooth degree, and real-time.This article analyzes the functional requirements, composition and structure of the ethernet video services terminal, patitions the system into three subsystems such as high-speed sampling, video compression,and network communication,and then proposes the system hardware design.Auhthor focus on the video compression technology based on MPEG-4standards,and then does hardware design and software programming on the basis of the Dual-core structure of the ADSP561. Auhthor also researches the100M embedded ethernet deeply,gives the design of the redundancy network and complets the network on-line monitoring and real-time switch.Finally, system achieve real-time video stream transmission with ethernet wich is based on VDK.The ethernet video services terminal described in this article can achieve real-time D1format video capture, compression and provids unicast, multicast and other services on the ethernet. |
