In the wake of college enrollment expansion, the total number of graduates keepsincreasing each year. Therefore, the employment of college graduates also increasinglybecomes an issue of public concern. With unprecedented pressure, it becomes the mostimportant and urgent issues for graduates to hunt for a job. As soon as the campus recruitmentstarts, recruitment information is overwhelming. Graduates have to not only take part in avariety of campus talks, written examination and interviews, but also search through all kindsof recruiting websites for recruiting information within a tight time. In this paper, a personalemployment information collection and management system is designed and implemented, inorder to help those graduates and make it more efficient and convenient for them to collectand manage the related recruitment information.According to the real current employment situation, the system aims at graduate personal,and the main issues to be addressed is the employment information collection andmanagement automation, as well as information-sharing. With the object-orientedframework, the system responds magnificently to the challenges such as thefragmented-developing, cumbersome implementation, slow progress, difficult maintenance,and so on. Under the background of modern software engineering and systems analysis anddesign theory, this paper makes use of several programming tools including the UMLmodeling language,.NET development environment and SQL Server2008databasemanagement system, to analyze, design and implement such an employment informationcollection and management system. In order to achieve “high cohesion, low coupling”, thesystem uses a3-tier application, to divide the entire application into User Interface Layer (UI),Business Logic Layer (BLL), and Data Access Layer (DAL). Such a framework is conduciveto standardization, and explicit functional layering is easy for the later software maintenance,whose cost would be greatly reduced. Besides, according to our library’s equipmentenvironment and our university’s actual employment situation, this paper also constructs andimplements a personal employment information collection and management system based onADO. NET ENTITY FRAMEWORK.The development process of this personal employment information collection andmanagement system follows the software engineering specifications, and holds completetechnical materials. It draws a clear hierarchy because of the overall tree structure, drilling down from the top down. The system is composed of four functional modules: register/login,recruitment information, personal expectation, and information-sharing, each of which alsoincludes respective sub-function modules. For the security and privacy of personalinformation, the system could set three kinds of user permission, which are systemadministrator, ordinary users and registered users, also to ensure the safe of databaseoperations. System administrators have the highest authority, therefore they can add, modify,and delete the recruitment information and personal expectation information of any user,which aims to ensure the correctness and legitimacy of all the employment information.Ordinary users are only allowed to look up the recruitment information, while registered andlogged users are able to query, add, delete and modify their own recruitment and expectationinformation. Besides registered users are also allowed to inquire all other users’ recruitmentinformation, send short messages to them, and share some specific recruitment andexpectation information. The system supports single and multiple data input at the same time,and also provides data import and export functions. Expect full-scale query, statistics andmanagement function, fuzzy query by keyword of employment information is also supported.Moreover, it is good in readability because the source URL link is also included in therecruitment information.This paper will discuss the employment information collection and management systemn several aspects as follows:1. Based on the full investigation of current employment situation of a number ofChina’s university, this paper discusses the significance of the employmentinformation collection and management system for graduates to improve theefficiency of employment information and management;2. Have an in-depth study on the critical technology of how to develop an employmentinformation collection and management system;3. Requirement analysis of the employment information collection and managementsystem;4. Overall design of the employment information collection and management system;5. Detailed design of the system, developing and debugging the system in accordancewith the3-tier application framework;6. Test all the functional module of the system, make summary and outlook about thesystem.After a full investigation, there exists no employment information collection andmanagement system for graduates so far. This paper studies and implements such anemployment information collection and management system to promote employmentinformation sharing, which contributes to improve the efficiency and saving-time ofgraduates’ information collection and management.
