With the development of the society, the form of map services advanced from traditional paper maps to digital maps and network maps, with the diversificaiton of human activity. But until now, map service always implemented at a fixed terminal, but this can’t satisfy the mobile users, who had increased demands on individuation. So, the traditional map services should make progress on mobility and individuation, so appears the personal mobile map.Android and Google maps API were definited as the main implementation techniques through the research of personal mobile map, and made many research study on these two for grasp. And then, system overall design was fixed based on the research of users demand, when these’re all ready, a personal mobile map system based on Android and Google maps API was designed and implemented. This system included four modules:track modules, location infromation management, helps and settings, which can provided many functions such as map views, location, track records, mobile track display, mobile track record storage and management. User can also bound personal informations to a coordinate on the mapview, and browse and manage these informations. All of this can make a more individuation map service.In this article, a personal mobile map system was designed and implemented base on the mix of Android and Google Maps API. This system had a friendly interface, a convenient operation, and fine scalability and maintainability. At last, this system was tested and proved to be stable and strong. This system can satisfy the users on mobility and individuation, and have a good value and markets prospects.
