Microchip is the most vital part in microfluidics, which is interdisciplinary composed by molecular biology, microelectronics and micro-hydromechanics. One of the vital parts of labs on chip is micromixer, which is used to achieve rapid mixing effect in the fields such as chemical synthesis, DNA hybridization to biological analysis, reactions and detecting in biological and chemistry. The most value of those applications is that micromixer could save specimen and cut down the time of action. The study is to research two relationships, the first one is the relationship between parameters of disturbance and mixing effect, the other is the relationship between configuration of micromixer and mixing effect. The aim of the study is severed to design micromixer with a high mixing effect and to instruct operation of experiment.A cylindrical micromixer which is disturbed by pump is designed to research the relationship between disturbance parameters and mixing effect in the paper, two results are obtained. One of them is that a active micromixer which must have a pressure gradient could enhance the mixing effect, the other is relationship between parameters of disturbance and mixing effect:mixing time has inverse ratio to pump pressure and to square of pump frequence. Two group dates were fitted follow the format as lines and they verified the correctness of the points:their reliability could meet required value-0.95in the engineering. In order to prove the correctness of the functions again, another micromixer with configuration of Y is designed in the study. Besides the aim to prove the points, the study of Y micromixer involves relationship between configuration of micromixer and mixing effect and the problem to widen the range of Re. The paper proposed the conception of mean mixing time which could evaluate mixing effect of all sorts of micromixers to treat the experiment dates of Y micromixer. The result of experiment in the Y micromixer proves the correctness of the functions proposed in the paper. A wide range of Re and the relationship between configuration of micromixer and mixing effect were gotten.The exact functions of the relationship between disturbance parameters and mixing effect are important to operation of experiments:the strongest mixing ability could be predicted via the functions according to any disturbance parameter; the strongest mixing effect of micromixer and the parameters of disturbance respectively could be gotten via few experiment dates (at least two groups). In addition, the result that a micromixer which must have pressure gradient could enhance mixing effect will serve to design a successful micromixer as a reference requirement.
