Design And Implementation Of MIS For Costing Of Highway Construction

This paper designs and implements the MIS for costing of highway constructing inorder to order, store, retrieval, compare and use the information, which were gathered inhighway constructing process. The MIS in this paper is cooperated by Xi’an Universityof Finance and Economics (XAUFE) and Department of Traffic Project Standard ofShaanxi Traffic Bureau based on VB6.0and on SQLServer2000.This paper discuss the definition and property of MIS for Costing of HighwayConstructing. Combing with the methods of MIS developing, this paper put up withstrategy of development, draw up the system architecture. Based on the analysis of thedata, which stored in the system storage, the system was designed, which the propertiesof MIS for Costing of Highway Constructing was considered comprehensive. Thesystem is consisted of Data Management, Costing Predicting Management Module，Exponential Function Management Module and other modules.It is expected to improve the level of MIS for costing of highwayconstructing.Though the tests,the MIS was proved that it was running well, structuralintegrity, and functional.Finally, the paper test and evaluated the MIS for Costing of Highway Constructing.The working-mechanism of the MIS was analysis. The improving methods weresuggested to guarantee the system worked well.
