TD-HSUPA technology is an important staged research topic in the currentevolution direction of TD-SCDMA system. With the development of TD-SCDMAnetwork, TD-HSUPA technology will obtain an important application. To furtherenhance the uplink performance of network and improve the users’ business experience,research on packet scheduling technique is necessary.In this thesis, the basic principle of TD-HSUPA technology is introduced first.Then we focus on the fast packet scheduling technique, and propose an improvedalgorithm-MM-LWDF algorithm.First, based on the current situation that non-scheduling resource cann’t be takenfull advantage of in non-controlled by Node B scheduling mode, non-schedulingresource is used as scheduling resource to transport data in MM-LWDF algorithm whenit is in idle phase. Besides this, classic scheduling algorithms didn’t consider differencesbetween users’ QoS rates guaranteed by server and the limited nature of cache, so theuser average throughput in M-LWDF algorithm is replaced by customer satisfactiondefined with user’s QoS rate, and forecasting packet loss rate resulted by queuebecoming full is introduced in MM-LWDF algorithm, thus improving user fairness andreducing the system packet loss rate.Finally, simulate the performance of MM-LWDF algorithm using MATLABsoftware, demonstrating the superiority of the algorithm from the theoretical analysisand simulation.
