| At present, constructing ubiquitous networks has been regarded as the key strategy to obtain the leading edge in IT field by many countries and regions around the world. According to the architecture of the ubiquitous network, a wireless sensor network platform is developed for testifying key techonologies and demonstrating the features and performance of ubiquitous applications.Firstly, according to the architecture of the ubiquitous network, the sensor network platform is constructed by a Web Camera, a GSM Modem, a PC Server, the Campus Network and the Wireless Sensor Network which consists of many infrared and temperature sensor nodes.Secondly, a policy base is designed and implemented on the PC Server, according to the cognitive process including information collection, analysis, decision and execution. By using the policy base to handle the exceptions of temperature and infrared. the applications of fault warning of the temperature sensors, fire alarm and safety monitoring are designed and implemented in laboratory.Finally, the user interface and the functions of the Server software and the Client software are introduced to show the basic functions of the platform. The applications of fault warning of the temperature sensors, fire alarm and safety monitoring are tested and demonstrated through simulating the scenes of abnormal temperature and abnormal infrared in laboratory. |
