Design And Implementation Of Web-based Data Submission System

Along with the quick popularity of Internet, combined with growth in the numberof faculty members, traditional method of data submission has not satisfied demands forfast and accurate processing of information. The Web-based Data Submission System isan important element in campus information and a tendency for enabling the teachingand management to be information oriented and network oriented gradually.“Windows+IIS+PHP+MySQL” forms a complete set of development B/S structureof the Web-based Data Submission System. With this system as an example, this paperpresents the development of technical key points and the implementation. The systemmainly provides data submission and management, such as data and documentationmanagements, roles and permissions managements, information collection and so on.Firstly, this paper expounds the background, significance and status of the researchsubject. And then it explains some knowledge and the software platform for the systemdesign. Directed by Object Oriented Software Engineering methodology, such diagramsas use case diagram have been designed with Unified Modeling Language. Detaileddocuments and models of the user types, system business requirements, and functionalrequirements and data requirements are established. Secondly, according to the principleof database design, it finds out relational database tables. Finally, it shows part codes,the security mechanisms of the system and how to realize the system, and according tothe test results and system operation gives some proposals for further improvement.
