The technology of coherent beam combining is used for achieving high power, betterquality laser beam. Now it becomes the focus of research in the field of laser technology.Not only is beam wavefront a technical parameter of laser performance,but also it is aevaluation index of beam quality. Thus, great importance has been placed on wavefrontsensing.Firstly, this paper presents the principle of one method for measuring beam wavefrontwith Hartmann-Shack wavefront sensor, and the method for measuring phase difference oftwo beams in direct. Secondly,technical solution relating for measurement system ofhigh-power laser wavefront is introduced. The system how to work and its structuraldiagram is given in detail. Finally,all kinds of key technologies which effect the systemaccuracy have been presented and calculated. The factors caused various errors areanalyzed carefully.Using computer to simulate the phase errors which are shown byhistogram. In summary,by using Hartmann-Shack wavefront sensor and measuring phasedifference in direct,the problem of measuring wavefront of coherent beam combining canbe solved. Meanwhile,this system is also able to achieve higher power and longerwavelength.
