Coal mine data acquisition system plays a very important role in coal mine safetyin production, is primarily responsible for collecting various environmental parametersof coal mine and transmitting the data to ground control center. Most current coal minedata acquisition system adopts communication ways of RS485bus and CAN bus, butcoal mine data acquisition system requests that timeliness is high, transmitting range isfar, data transfer rate is high, the reliability is high,anti-interference is strong. With therequirements of coal mine data acquisition gradually improving, the traditional way ofcommunications can not satisfy the practical demand.Industrial Ethernet EtherCAT is a kind of real-time Ethernet with advancedperformance, EtherCAT has advantages of high timeliness, precise synchronizationperformance, high speed of data transmission, flexible network topology structure andgood compatibility. Based on the above reasons, this thesis proposes a scheme of coalmine data acquisition system based on industrial Ethernet EtherCAT, this dataacquisition system adopts one master and more slaves network structure.The mastercan use PC to realize the basic function, the slaves are composed of EtherCAT slavecontroller ET1100, microprocessor FPGA and data acquisition module. The dataacquisition system can apply to the long distance, large area and large scope of coalmine data acquisition, and each slave has precise synchronization performance, theprecision of the synchronization performance can achieve25ns.Firstly, this thesis design the overall scheme of coal mine data acquisition systembased on EtherCAT communication theory and introduce the makeup of the system.Secondly, design and implement the hardware platform of the system, and elaboratethe design principle of each hardware module. At last, accomplish the sofeware designof the system, which includes the master program and the application programs of theslaveļ¼Œthe master program is designed by LabVIEW, which establishs a stablecommunication with each slave and realizes the human-computer interface of thesystem, the application programs of the slave achieve the function of communicatingwith the master and completing the task of data acquisition. The test results indicatethat the data acquisition system designed by this thesis can work normally and satisfythe requirements of the coal mine data acquisition, and this system has a goodexpansibility and precise synchronization performance.
