Design And Implementation Of Regional Switching Center Based On Softswitch Technology

As the rapid development of telecommunications, the softswitch technology hasbecome the core technology in next generation network. And it is the key technology forchanging the telecommunication network from traditional circuit-switching network topacket-switching one. It is not only compatible with the traditional PSTN network, butalso contributed to the integration of the telecom network and IP network and additionalto complete the communication between the different network protocols. It provides auniform bearing platform to all media stream and further realizes the separation of callcontrol and media carrying.The design and implementation of some functions of the regional switching center(RSC) devices based on the softswitch technology are shown in this paper. First, theprocessing to the dialogue instance and design of the call state machine complete thecall control and media transmission. The interworking between ISUP and SIP protocolrealizes the signaling conversion. Second, in the process of sending and receiving shortmessages, it achieves the message processing and forwarding of MAP protocol-basedMO and MT messages. Third, for roaming, the processing and forwarding of roamingupdate location message and insertsubscribedata message are completed. And further itachieves the processing of purge and cancellocation message of a roaming user. Fourth,in addition, it achieves two kinds of registration mode: band and USSD mode. Finallythis paper shows the test results and analysis of the test results in the test environment.The capture test results with wireshark and the print info can be seen that the functionsmentioned in the text have been achieved. By the way, the above-mentioned functionshave successfully passed the acceptance tests.
