The continuous maturation of digital telecommunications technology and digitalsignal processing technology, promotes the dedicated mobile communication systems todevelop in the direction of digitization.ETSI(European telecom association ofstandard)proposed Digital Mobile Radio(DMR) standards in2004and perfected it in2007.DMR system,which is developed on the basis of PMR(Private Mobile RAdio)andin the phase of ceaseless perfection,is a dedicated digital mobile communicationsystem.Compared to the matured TETRA and iDEN,it has the advantages of lower cost,simpler technology and supports from analog to digital transition.DMR system can beinterconnected with public telephone network(PSTN),IP network and other relatedequipments and achieves barrier-free communication,and restrictions on DMRinterconnection protocal is minimized in this system. DMR system is in the early stageboth at home or abroad,and has araused whether manufacturers or scientific researchpersonnel’s extensive concern,therefore it has good prospects.This paper,which mainly studies the repeater mode of the DMR system,fisrtintroduces the layered structure based on the DMR system and the main functionsrealized by each layer,and gives a detailed analysis of the channel access principles andaccess process based on the second stage of DMR protocol;second describes theprinciples of the DMR interconnection protocal,including protocol architecture,channelmode,random access process,calling procedure and so on; third carries on detailedreaserch on the operation mode, calling procedure, signaling transmission procedure andother several aspects of the transfer pattern based on the second stage of the DMRprotocol.Then this paper analyzes the realization process of simulation,and writes acontrol layer software in accordance with the tranfer pattern of the DMRcommunication protocol in the development environment of c++Builer6.0, thensimulates and analyzes the performance of the DMR protocol.at last gives a brieflysummary of the whole text.
