The Research And Simulation Of The Network Protocol Of The Integrated Earth Network

With the development of space technology and the growing space activities of internationa and commercialization,the problem which firstly to solve in both the near-Earth space exploration and the deep space exploration is that the integration exchange and the interoperability.For this problem, the Advisory Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) proposed AOS protocol. Which can provide a more diverse, more flexible space-two-way data transmission services.On the other hand, the IP technology is now widely used on earth in general and Internet.Conceiving the network integration using IP technology world in space will bring enormous benefits.Based on this problem, this paper analyzed the current international system.In order to achieve in the space network transmission of IP datagram, it proposed earth integrated protocol stack model that is AOS agreement in the data link layer, IP protocol in network layer, SCPS-TP protocol in transport layer. For the space network and ground network protocol exchange it was provided by the AOS protocol to complete the different business.In order to solve the reliability of space network,it maked a detailed analysis and research of the network transport layer of space, and then it gived a preliminary proposals for the transport layer protocol configuration,which not only can adapt to the special environment of space communications,but also can be compatible with the Internet.At last, this paper maked a model and simulation for earth integrated network architecture with the use of OPNET network simulation tool. It simulated and analyzed of the AOS protocol-framing techniques and virtual channel multiplexing. At the same time,it compared the performance of the simulation through the TCP and SCPS-TP protocol,which verifises the feasibility of the use of SCPS-TP protocol in the network transport layer.The research achievements of this paper provided a reference for constructing our own earth integrated network and analyzing the network protocol.
