Measurement and Control Information Network (MCIN) provides a unified platform for space mission information acquisition, storage and distribution. It also enables unified management of space mission information, to achieve efficient sharing and utilization. Measurement and Control Information Network is the base of space mission. Space information transfer protocol is the key factor of MCIN. With the development of manned spacecraft mission and deep space exploration program, especial the decision to launch space lab and space station, we need to speed up the Measurement and Control Information Network duding and research the space information transfer protocol. This paper studies the current international and domestic space information transfer protocols, and proposes the transfer protocol architecture based on IP over CCSDS that fits the future development needs of MCIN of our country. Comparing the data link protocols of CCSDS and commercial data link protocol, we choose CCSDS in data link layer. This paper introduces TM, TC and AOS space data link protocols. At last, this paper carries on the modeling and simulation to the CCSDS telemetry and AOS protocol based on the OPNET and STK simulation platform and focuses on the telemetry and AOS packet throughput performance. According to the simulation, how the packet length, frame length and channel error rate can affect the throughput performance is discussed. With the throughput curve we direct the applications of the protocol to space missions.
