Research On Architecture And Service Providing In Digital Home Oriengting Three Networks Convergence

Digital home refers to a residence with devices that are connected using communication, TV and computer technologies. A digital home has a network consumer electronics, mobile, and PC devices that cooperate transparently and simplify usability in the home, which can provide the function of monitoring, controlling and management. With the development of three networks convergence in our country, it is urgent for us to construct a novel network architecture of digital home over three networks convergence. At present the solution of digital home network is lack of the consideration about the architecture of digital home network over three networks convergence and the serving model, which results in the problem of the incompatible of technologies, the low of intelligence and the difficulty of coordination services. Based on the current status of the digital home network, this paper focus on the network architecture of the digital home over three networks convergence and the method of providing services under this architecture as follows:1) After analyzing the current architecture of non-centric and centric network, we abandon the traditional digital home network which is divided by the technology of communication, and design a novel Multi Application Domain Digital Home Network Architecture over Three Networks Convergence, which is better for providing and managing services in digital home. It can address the key problems of the distribution of service sources and the difficulty of coordination services.2)Based on the Multi Application Domain Digital Home Network Architecture, we design a digital home intra service model by specifying and unifying the intra service interface in digital home, and then we propose the procedure of intra services in digital home. The service model realizes the separation of application and device, improves the ability of coordinating services, the utilization of service resources and the speed of developing application.3) Based on the Multi Application Domain Digital Home Network Architecture, we design a digital home external service model by introducing the idea of Parlay Web Service that provide unified service interface by packaging the heterogeneous network API. And then the providing procedure of digital home external services is proposed, which realized the unified invocation and mutual cooperation of different services in computer, telecommunication and TV&Radio network.Based on these technology we design and realize the digital home service management system. The running results show that the system has realized the basic function of the service management, which includes registration, cancellation, configuration, query and publishment of services. The content of this paper plays an important role in the development of the digital home technologies and industry, which provides support to the constitution of standard and the development of application.
