With the popularity of Internet technology, Internet data centers, enterprise data centers for personal use, have been rapid development of elecommunications operators, banking and financial system, government and large enterprises and so during the construction of large data center room. Thus forming a large number of high-power UPS needs. However, the domestic market point of view, the basic domestic manufacturers can not produce a large UPS, power UPS domestic market occupied almost entirely by foreign companies. In order to improve the domestic high-power UPS design and manufacturing standards., achieve complete replacement of existing high-power UPS products abroad. In this paper, plays a decisive role in the performance of UPS rectifier circuit and inverter circuit are two key techniques are analyzed and studied.First, an overview of the classification and technical status of UPS, describes the development trend of UPS, given the research topic. On this basis, describes the technical requirements of UPS. Demand made in accordance with UPS design of this article. Of the UPS system, working principle, structure and layout are described.UPS circuit for the rectifier circuit and inverter circuit in detail the two key technologies to the analysis and design. The main rectifier active power factor correction using a combination of high technology and three-level IGBT rectifier technology, DC power supply for the inverter, smart charger and battery. The SPWM inverter circuit uses digital PI control and regulation technology combined with high frequency mid-point clamped three-level circuit technology to achieve high-quality sine wave output. This power inverter with the current development status of digital control technology to analyze and choose the two major aspects of the control strategy: SPWM control and digital PI regulator.Then, according to the above analysis and design, completed a three-phase UPS40KVA prototype. Carried out related experiments and testing, collecting a large number of test waveforms and data. By comparison of key performance indicators, the prototype is up to or better than existing similar foreign products. The results show the feasibility of this article, and key technology research and design accuracy and reliability. And can replace an existing similar products abroad. Finally, the modular power supply with the current direction of development, proposed the use of no method of interconnect multiple parallel UPS in parallel programs to achieve the expansion and interoperability UPS.
