Weibo Dissemination: A Kind Of Transpiration Patterns Generated By Public Opinion

Twitter communication has been developing at a fast speed since the Chinese twitter processor-the micro-blog of sina was successfully tested in August,2009. Unlike the traditional plunging water mode featuring the down-to-up transmission of information and opinion, this new platform has provided direct channels for the civilian to express their opinions, and thus making possible the steamed water mode characterized by the up-and-down communication of relevant information and opinions.The following factors are supposed as the three major preliminaries in facilitating the down-to-up process of opinion-formation, they are respectively the change and development of the whole social system and communication environment, the structural transition of the state-and-society relationship, as well as the ideology and discourse of the participants.Starting from the cases occurred in micro-blog space, through the text-research approach, this research has centered around the following three subjects, namely, how did the application of micro-blog boost the formation and communication of some public agenda, how did the group of public intellectuals practicing the public discourse seek the dialogue space within the realm of existing political system and social structure, and how did the micro-blog pact the traditional news-processing model,and then advance the transformation of governmental discourse.The analysis of concrete cases has mirrored the embarrassing reality of Chinese political communication,and then aroused the question concerning the possibilities of mechanized process for the down-to-up mode of opinion-formation, and how to maintain the appropriate frequency of the discussion of public events, and simultaneously, the demerits and limitations of the internet opinion has been noted, which has turned the research into the discussion into the issue concerning the necessary conditions for the steamed water opinion mode.Through the process of analysis, it can be concluded that the steamed-water opinion mode is fundamentally relied on the reform of the state-country system and the transition for the state-society relationship, which is grounded on the three basis, they are respectively the collective model of a d number of new-media events, the structural reform of traditional media system, as well as the ever-changing transformation process of political mechanism between the government of the central and the provincial, the research is then extended into the realm concerning social reform, discussing how to form the good connection between the political reform among the upper class and the social mobilization among the general public, as well as how will the dual structure between the state and the society be gradually improved, this is the core argument this dissertation want to probe into, and namely how the political application of the Internet will be given the broadened space for development and thus raised much greater energy for the political transformation in China.
