Information acquisition and processing have become the core of modern informationtechnology, they play an important role in the development of society, the progress ofscience and technology. In order to obtain various kinds of nature information, peopleinvent wireless sensor network that is self-organization network. It is made up of a largenumber of cheap, micro sensors. There are deployed in the test area, through the sensorperception, gathering information and sent it to the base station in which information willbe deal with. Wireless sensor technology is a multidisciplinary technology, mainly blendcomputer technology, embedded technology, microelectronics technology and wirelesscommunication technology, etc. Wireless sensor networks have broad application space,such as military, environmental monitoring, medical business fields and so on. Due to theparticularity of the application environment, the energy of the wireless sensor network isvery important. So, a wireless sensor network routing p rotocol with energy saving has agreat significance for the study.Wireless sensor network routing algorithm according to the division of differentstandards can be divided into many types. The equal and hierarchical routing is animportant division. Due to the equal routing is weak on expanding, nowadays, in the mostof application field, wireless sensor network use hierarchical routing algorithm, it alsocalled clustering routing algorithm. In the clustering routing algorithm, there are two types,even-clustering and uneven-clustering. LEACH belong to even-clustering routingalgorithm, UCS belong to uneven-clustering routing algorithm. The two routing protocolare the focus of this thesis. The work of this thesis summarized as follows:(1) Briefly describes the wireless sensor network research background and currentresearch situation at China and abroad, analyzes the characteristics of the wireless sensornetwork, structure, key technology and its application.(2) Describes the routing protocol of wireless sensor network basic concept and algorithm’s evaluation indicators. Detailed analysis the existing several typical routingprotocol’s basic principle, advantages and disadvantages.(3) Explains classical even-clustering routing protocol LEACH, it’s thought ofalgorithm and operation steps. On that basis, puts forward a kind of based on experientialchoice and even-clustering routing algorithm, ESABE (Energy Saving Algorithm based onthe Experience), and combine it with LEACH. The simulation results show that the newprotocol compared with LEACH efficiently save the network energy, prolong the networklife time.(4) Explains the classical uneven-clustering routing protocol UCS and it’s algorithmthought. On that basis, puts forward a kind of based on experiential choice anduneven-clustering routing algorithm, EEAUE (Energy Efficient Routing Algorithm onUneven Clustering and Experience), and combine it with LEACH. The simulation resultsshow that, compared with LEACH, ESABE, UCS, EEAUE prolong the network life time.
