With the rapid development of Chinese economy, transportation industry has become a driving force for the development of the economy, over-limit and over-load vehicle flock in the highway have caused serious damages to highway, shortened the service life of them. The governance of overrun and overload is imperative. For a long time, the over-limit and over-load detection is mainly for static vehicle detection. This way not only has low detection efficiency, but also causes traffic jams easily and requires high quality labor intensity. Based on the dynamic vehicle weighing, an embedded high-speed overrun pre-detection system is developed in this paper. The system improves fairness and impartiality of the overrun detection, makes Vehicle divert traffic scientifically, reduces the work intensity of low speed detecting station, and saves a large amount of human resources.Firstly, overall system designing ideas and methods are introduced in this paper, and the hardware design of data acquisition system is completed. The-data acqnisition system mainly includes the LPC2214minimum system structures, conditioning circuit design, A/D conversion circuit design and circuit design of other modules. Secondly, the filter algorithm and algorithm of dynamic weighting are studied. By using C language and integrated development environment ADS1.2Code Warrior IDE to support data acquisition program design, the data acquisition, data preprocessing, and transfer data with serial way to the software system. Finally, the system software design is completed. The system software is based on embedded operating system Windows CE embedded Visual C++4.0development tools. Combined with SQLite3database, the software system has realized the data processing, sensor static calibration and dynamic detection system, and database queries, etc.The system undertakes hardware and software debugging and related experiment. The results show that the system is able to work stably and detect over-limit and over-loading vehicles. It’s also able to show up the test results and store them in a database in real-time after the detection. The test results meet the requirements, which achieve the expected target.
