Tianjin Century Talent Middle School is a private middle school. In a general way, the teachers of reserve force tends to be strong in this kind of school, but the quality of students is not high, and there is fierce admissions competition between these schools. Therefore, in order to ensure the quality and quantity of admissions on the premise of ensuring stability of the teaching level, we need to improve the ability of management and service of middle school, and establish distinctive management mode. Based on the background and the actual demand of management business of private middle school, this paper is focusing on the research and design and implementation of a set of school management system for private middle school, which has a good application value.Based on the importance and specific goals of the construction of school management system, combined with the related computer technology and database technology, as the guiding ideology of software project implement process, this paper deels with the design and implementation process of school management system suitable for private middle school through analyzing and gathering requirements for the school management business of traditional private middle school. In specific research work in the thesis, firstly, in view of the research background of the thesis,we reviewed a lot of relevant literature, and put forward the construction of the private middle school management system. According to the constructing idea and discussion with users, determined the main research content and cleared research direction of the thesis. Secondly, we completed the requirement analysis, investigated and surveyed the process of integrated business management of private middle school. Based on the UML scenarios model, we gave an analysis of the specific functional requirements and data flow by the method of data flow diagram, and made a binding statement on related system performance index. Thirdly, we finished overall design work of system. On the basis of the characteristics of private middle school management, designed the functional module from top to bottom. We identified the core of school management system technology structure with B/S mode and combination of Struts + Spring + Hibernate framework technology. We also designed the system network structure and database model. Fourthly, we completed the detail design work of the system. Aiming at seven function modules in the overall design including student information management, teaching resources management, parent-school communication platform, students move record and remind, student dormitory security management, data statistics and system management, we expounded the detail sub-function of each function module in the form of UML activity diagram and program flow chart. Finally, we finished system implementation and testing of each function of school management system by programming control. We also showed system interfaces and tested the system function and performance.In terms of the implementation effect, on the one hand, the private middle school management system can turn the school management into a completely paperless operation, on the other hand, can promote the transparency of communicate between school and outside world, strengthen the communication between family and school, thus can improve the management level of private middle school more effectively.
