| With the rapid development of network communication technology, the ethernetnetwork has been widely used in industrial domination. The traditional monitor andcontrol device adopts the RS-232standard serial interface, and it’s very difficult tocentralize data, connect device, control data and step-implement when the RS-232interface convert to the10BaseT interface, and it is of great significance to researchon the connecting of serial device to the network.Based on the ARM(Advanced RISC Machines) technology and μClinuxoperation system, a general blue print of protocol transformer design model based onS3C44B0X is put forward. And then, the protocol converting program is designedand implemented. This design can be widely used in the connecting of serial deviceto the network. The main work of this thesis includes the following three aspects:Based on the analysis of the main function of protocol transformer and thenetwork connecting mode, this thesis presents a general blue print of protocoltransformer design, a protocol transformer based on S3C44B0X is put forward.The hardware system of protocol transformer based on S3C44B0X is designedgenerally. And the function of the SDRAM module, the FLASH module, the serialinterface, the10/100M ethernet network interface module and the JTAG module areanalyzed.The software system of protocol transformer based on S3C44B0X is designedgenerally. The device driver program of the μClinux, the driver program of theRTL8019AS and the system application program are designed basically, and themain program is implemented. This protocol transformer based on S3C44B0X can bewidely used in the connecting of serial device to the network. |
