With the rapid development of science and technology, digital voice, image and datacompression technology has made great strides, and the network has penetrated into every part ofour lives, and the application of streaming media technology is wider. On the basis of audio andvideo data compression and network streaming media technology, network video surveillancesystem has been applicated widely in many fields such as industrial production, transportation,security, scientific experiments, which is showing a booming trend.For actual application, the audio and video surveillance system software based onTMS320DM368multimedia processor is designed and implemented. The system software iscomposed by the front-end and back-end software, which achieves the acquisition of audio dataand high-definition video images encoded transmissionand playback functions, and has a certainapplication value and practical significance.Firstly, the paper focuses on the research significance and value of the system and decribedthe functional requirements of the system. With deeply research on TMS320DM368superiorityand DaVinci technology, the overall implementation of the system is designed.Secondly, the paper elaborates the main components of the system front-end softwaremodules and functions to be achieved. The system front-end software is composed of audio,video encoding and writing memory modules, system management module, user interactionservice modules and other components, which achieves the basic functions of capture,processing and transmission of audio and video data. For there being many system processes,system management module is designed to ensure the orderly, normal operation. User interactionservices module serves as a hub, which user can connect and interact back-end software withfront-end.Thirdly, the paper describes the process of the implementation of the system software in theback-end. The system back-end software is composed of system parameter management module,real-time video local playback module, real-time audio playback module, based on the local fileGstreamer audio and video playback module, the user access control module, which achieves thefunction of real-time playback of audio and video data, audio and video playback of local filesand system parameters management functions. At the same time, in order to avoid user due to thesystem running sluggish too much, user access strategy is designed to ensure the normal operation of the system.Finally, the function of the system was tested. The test results show that the system canachieve the audio data, high-definition video data, and real-time display; video and audio data issaved as a local file playback function, the player can use the system design. The test resultsabove show that the system achieves the expected function.
