With the continuous improvement of the home-based service requirements of different types offamily facilities and terminals, how to meet the demand of collecting, analyzing and processingheterogeneous multi-terminal complex information has become one of the hot topics in the field ofshort-range wireless communications. This thesis is mainly on research of the complex informationperception in the home environment, and a perception system is designed and analyzed.At the beginning, the characteristics of the wireless sensor network and some concepts of sensorare simply introduced, then an overall architecture of perception system which can deal with thecomplex information in home environment is proposed, the model consists of three parts namedsensor module, perceptual node module and application part, each part is detailed analyzed in thethesis. In addition, during the development of a system, the separation of hardware and softwarehelps to improve the efficiency, so the rest part of this thesis introduces the perception system in thehome environment from two aspects. Finally, in order to verify the usefulness of the method, asimple home environment-aware system is designed with the help of C#and database in whichsensor information is defined in accordance with the description of sensor models and sensor datatemplate. Also the information display and some control function are achieved with the help ofnRF24E1.The operation result of the home environment-aware system shows that the sensing methoddesigned in this thesis can successfully achieve a variety of information collection, which reflectsthe correctness of the sensing method and the practicability of the perception system.
