With the construction and development of the high-speed railway, the high-speed railway hasprofoundly changed the way people travel. People enjoy the high speed, at the same time, they findthat the existing network performance is not satisfactory in the high-speed railway scene. Additionto optimize the existing network, deployment of a better network in place of the existing network isalso a good method to improve the users’experience.According to the characteristics of the high-speed rail coverage, the thesis focuses on analysis ofCDMA2000network coverage in the high-speed environment and presents a planning andoptimization process of CDMA2000network in the scene of high-speed railway. Firstly, the thesisintroduces the basic principles and core technology of CDMA2000systems and analyzes the theparticularity of CDMA2000network coverage in the high-speed environment. It provides atheoretical basis for further research. Secondly, the thesis studies the CDMA2000network planningand optimization technology of high-speed rail and elaborates network planning and optimizationprocesses, radio propagation models in the high-speed environment, link budget and networking. And according to the characteristics of various scenes along the high-speed rail, we do differentplanning by different terrain. Finally, according to an intercity railway planning and design schemeof CDMA2000network in detail, based on the site survey, we use the Enterprise (3G) simulationsoftware to simulate the scheme, and simulation results verify the feasibility of the planning scheme. To further understand the coverage of an intercity railway network, we test the actual network bythe dial test and EVDO download test. And the analysis results of the test data show that an intercityrailway network coverage of CDMA2000is pretty good and achieves the desired effect.
