Abstract: With the development of modern agricultural science and technology in China,biotron as a controlled laboratory environment is applied widely in crop cultivation, breeding andother fields, and becomes more and more important to the high precision, real-time dataacquisition of microclimate factors. Aiming at the complex layout and inconvenient maintenanceof the biotron, this paper presents an implementation of biotron data acquisition system based onwireless sensor network, this system can conveniently realize the wireless monitoring of thetemperature, humidity, light, wind velocity, rainfall and other climate elements.The purpose of this design is to obtain the current environment parameters from the biotron,and carries on the control, so a WSN (Wireless Sensor Network) was built. Firstly, the wirelesssensor nodes are placed in the biotron, small range of various environment parameters areacquired by the wireless sensor network; Secondly, the main controller carries on correspondingprocessing to the environmental parameter information that transmitted from the wireless sensornetwork, and the information will be sent to the host human machine interface (HMI) through theModbus protocol, Modbus protocol is a host/slave communication protocol, main from thecommunication protocol, the main controller sends data to the HMI while receiving the controlcommand from the HMI, the main controller processes these control command, then control theoutput of the relay, open the corresponding field control equipment, to achieve the effectivecontrol of the environmental factors in the biotron; The human machine interface (HMI) displaythe environmental parameters in the biotron, send a parameter control commands to the maincontroller, and connect to the remote control terminal by a local area network, realize theobjective of remote control.This paper conbines ZigBee wireless sensor technology, remote control technology andARM technology, the embedded microprocessor as the core established a set of wireless datacollection, on-site control and remote control network platform. This paper has carried on the testto the whole biotron monitoring system, the result of the testing shows that this system realizesthe expected functions, solves the defects of complicated wiring, maintenance inconvenient, andusers can take real-time monitoring by remote control method, it has broad market prospects andapplication value.
