Integral imaging is one of the most promising true autostereoscopic three-dimensional display technology by adding the microlens array in the optical system to achieve3D optical image and digital image. The viewers do not need to wear special observation equipment and it can generate continuous images containing full true color. In this paper, the three-dimensional digital reconstruction of the integral imaging technology is researched, and includes the following aspects:In the research of optical pickup system simulation, we use the simulation software POV-Ray to build a model of square lens array, and capture two sets of integral image of3D senses to verify the microlens array model. On the other hand, we simulate three actual model of square lens array with same pitch but different radius to choice the experimental lens array. In the research of computational reconstrction procedure, we use computational integral imaging reconstruction (CIIR) method, which generate the the depth slice image of3D objects by using pinhole array model. Besides that, we establish the sharpness evaluation mechanism to assess the quality of the reconstruction image. Then the normalized cross correlation of stereo-matching algorithm is used to extract the depth information of3D object from elemental images.Because of the misalignment between the lens array and pick-up plane in the real pick-up process, we propose the pre-processing method of captured integral image based on Radon Transform algorithm. The method is introduced in two different conditions, affine transformation and projective transformation distortion. The method we proposed for calculating the skew angle of deviation is based on the Radon Transform algorithm. And we alse propose the gridline structure detection of elemental images based on the Radon Transform algorithm and Harris corner detection algorithm. Finally, based on these methods and algorithms, we capture sets of optical integral images of a letter candle and a plastic flower, the geometrical distortion in the elemental image set is rectified, then get the depth slice images with different reconstruction distance. With the relative position of the CCD camera and microlens array to be calibrated, the3D depth information of the marks in different depth is extracted.
