| Power line losses cross throughout the entire process of power production, transmission and sale, and cover the whole power losses from power plants until the end-user energy metering devices. The line loss rate is not only an important comprehensive index of electric companies examined by nation, but also an important technical indicator used to estimate the power planning and design, equipment performance and operating economical level. Therefore, to design and implement a real-time line loss analysis and management system based on automatic meter reading, assist management and operating personnel for analysis and calculation of line losses, and develop reasonable and effective loss reduction measures, have important practical significance and application value.In the design and development of real-time line loss analysis and management system, according to the standardization process of software engineering, starting from the needs of Luancheng power supplying company for the line loss management, this paper analyzes the current status of line loss management and existing problems, and determine the objectives and functions the system should achieve. On this basis, the design of the system involved a series of detailed and specific content analysis, including system design principles, concepts and classification of power loss, the theoretical calculation of line losses, specific measures for reducing loss, overall system architecture and data access, etc., focus on the loss reduction measures of reactive power optimization, and gives a reactive power optimization scheme based on random-adaptive particle swarm optimization. The simulation results show that the program is feasible and effective. Finally, this paper presents the detail implementation process according to the design, realizes the automatic meter reading for users through the remote metering system, continue to achieving the automatic analysis and operations of the line losses, detects the trouble spots in the distribution system, measurement failures and user tampering and other issues, and shows the changes of line loss rate by graphs and tables visually, so as to help management and operating personnel perform planning and measures of schedule running, and save energy loss. After the system is put in practice, it brings good effect, improves staff efficiency greatly and reduces the workload, so that the line loss rate has been effectively controlled, and good economic and social benefits are achieved. |
