Wireless sensor network (WSN) has attracted great attention in recently years. There are many applications, such as environment monitoring, medical care and robot exploration. With specific application requirements, the sensor node can collect data of temperature, humidity, magnetic intensity, noise, light intensity and the velocity of mobile object.Generally there are five layers when we discuss WSN. They are application layer, transportation layer, network layer, medium access control (MAC) layer and physics layer. The sensor nodes are often supplied with batteries, and it’s not easy for replacing the battery. So the energy consumption and data-centric is considered as the most critical factor in WSN, and this is the difference between traditional network and WSN.This paper then presents a UE-assisted interference mitigation scheme of time slot allocation in TDMA-based MAC protocols in the presence of overlapping MAC clustering for clustered WSNs. The most innovative feature of the proposed scheme is that it reduces inter-cluster TDMA interference significantly. It resolves the hidden interference problem between neighbor clusters and improves time slot using efficiency. And it proposed a new protocol called Ring Clustering based on above protocols. In network layer, node with the least cost value is selected as a cluster head. The cost value is determined by four parts, which can guarantee the most suitable cluster head can be selected. However, the nodes are clustering from inner board to outboard in ring, just like a water wave. The good simulation results validate the efficiency of annular clustering protocol.
