Design And Implementation Of Information System On Science And Technology Project Management In Zigong City

Science and technology project is science and technology research anddevelopment activity carried out by some groups or individuals within a certain periodof time in the national or provincial science and technology plan. Its implementation isbeneficial to the solution of key technical problems in the economic and socialdevelopment, the promotion of the application of scientific and technologicalachievement conversion and the improvement the capability of independent innovationof enterprises.In accordance with requirements for e-government development, IT developmenttrends and regional economic development needs, combining with the actualcharacteristics of the management of Zigong City Science and Technology Bureauprojects, this project focuses on research and development of Zigong City managementsystem software of science and technology projects, realization of the functionsincluding computer-aided technology projects online reporting, online assessment, andimplementation of management functions of tracking as well as acceptance of researchprojects. With the benefit of computer-aided management from manual, it caneffectively improve the management ability and efficiency of science and technologyprojects, and promote the "Sunshine project” of Zigong City project management.In this paper, the problem of science and technology project management is deeplystudied, its design and implementation based on ASP, Web is described, themanagement system is expounded in detail from the view of function, logic system,modules, and design development. To meet the practical needs of science andtechnology project management in Zigong City, the research and project managementsystem, which realizes online reporting, online assessment, tracking and acceptance ofresearch projects, is developed in this paper. The system can accomplish scientificmanagement of science and technology projects in Zigong City, without all kinds ofheavy work, such as report production, information collection. It helps the developmentof e-government in Zigong City.
