Modern distance open education is based on the computer network and satellitedigital communication technology with the characters of the freedom in time and space,resources sharing, open system, facilitating collaboration. The widespread moderndistance education with the internet as the main means has become reality, but it hasbecome the main factors to restrict the development of modern distant education thathow to make use of the network with the utmost effect, how to serve students, teachers,administrators, and make learning behavior, education, management initiatives berealized or conveyed more easily. Modern distance education is not simply to move thetraditional teaching activities to the network platform, but to converse the design on thebasis of full understanding the advantages and disadvantages of network application inthe education, and considering students, teachers, and various management staff rolebehavior. This is an iterative process. As everyone knows, in the education process, thestudents are the subjects as well as the audience, and all work in education is to meetthe educational needs of students. Around the needs of the students is to have moreeducation service groups: teachers and management staff. Therefore, the guiding ideaof "the design and implementation of network autonomous learning platform" is to setthe corresponding supporting services demand from the students’ demand andaccording to the student’s internet earning needs. The students’ related behaviors inschool and learning include: paying tuition, learning, taking examination andgraduation. Its services include: financial management, teaching management, teachingrelated management, class management, etc. It should be said that all the schools willbe involved in those works and services. It is nothing special. But it is not the samewhen those operations and behaviors are online. The network platform is affected anddetermined by other factors such as wether the presented function can meet therequirements of the uses, wether interface is friendly, whether the operation isconvenient, whether the response speed is able to meet the needs of teaching andlearning, whether the key data is secure. In order to construct the strong and vital"students’ autonomous learning web-based platform ", according to the author’s more than10years’ teaching experience, this article uses the object orientedprogramming method, excavates in-depth the needs of students and expands toteachers and management staff’s needs. The design adopts the traditional programmingmethods which appears more intuitive and more readable.
