In order to simulate the digitize mining and designing for open pit mine construction andproductive process, according to mining procedure and technique, on the basis of the constraintcondition for mine development, we need to sectioning the stratum entity, confirm the workingposition and calculate the quantity of engineering in3D visible environment, and then establishthe decision to produce. For avoiding the large data redundancy from entity modeling andcomputing, getting the intersection line between model surfaces, and forming enveloping surfaceas well. This reduces the space and time complexity of computational procedure immensely, andlocates the project boundary accurately.Modeling triangulated irregular network method and process are summarized in this paper.Take axis aligned bounding box to reject numbers of useless triangle elements of two TINmodels, utilize spatial encoding technique to locate the intersecting triangle pairs. Throughintersection testing, calculate the coordinates of vertices, disposed by vertices sorting process,the continuous line or closed loop is generated in the final.The initial and final stages, modeling network and generating line are realized in VBA codewhich is compiled in AUTOCAD software, and data processing, the middle stage, is compiledby VC++which can process data efficiently.
