Display and control terminal is the improtant component of a "BeiDou" user machine, users can control the "BeiDou" receiver accurately through a terminal, which can display the information obtained. In this paper, the design and implementation of a display and control system are studied, based on a WinCE operating system platform and S3C2440hardware.First, this paper introduced WinCE embedded operating system, included features, applications, development processes and development tools. Secondly, according to the feature requirements of display and control system, the selection of hardware platform is made, and core circuitry system and functional backplane circuit system were designed. Then modules of the two systems and functions of each module are introduced in detail. Design of the display and control system software, which included serial communication, data analysis, human-machine interface, and the functions of positioning, navigation, SMS are made. Finally, by using VC++in the host, a simulation test environment is developed, and the display and control system formed is tested. Test results showed that the display and control software has a friendly man-machine interface, which is easy to operate and the positioning results are correct and meet the system design requirements.
