With the development of computer network, wireless communications, embedded technology and wireless sensor network technology has encountered great development. As the latest information gain and processing technology, wireless sensor network research caused the attention of domestic and foreign researchers, many scientific research institutions and universities expend great human and resource for the project.Wireless sensor networks has many different characteristics with traditional Ad Hoc networks, we need adopting appropriate wireless routing protocol. As the node of network with limited signal transmission range, communication between nodes mainly rely on the relay forwarding, this sort of communication mechanism has strong flexibility, but any link failure will cause routing not available. In order to achieve the high reliability of the wireless sensor network system, we must improve the stability of the link.This paper studies the wireless sensor network structure, network protocol characteristics and core technology, combined with multipath routing protocols and node distance forecasting mechanism, propsed the DEP-AOMDV protocol in the base of AOMDV, Mainly on the following aspects:(1) Research on wireless sensor network system structure, network routing protocols, system performance. Focus in the multipath routing protocols, analysis and discuss of routing protocol development prospects, performance index of protocol, multipath routing theory basis and multipath routing protocol classification.(2) Mainly research on the wireless sensor network node distance prediction algorithm, detailed introduces the perception of distance prediction algorithm influence on the performance of protocol, propsed the DEP-AOMDV protocol in the base of AOMDV.(3) DEP-AOMDV agreement improved the routing request packet structure, join node surplus energy reference mechanism, which enables RREQ packet transfer process in the current directory records minimum surplus energy node, destination node received RREQ can decide whether to send RREP build the routing path.(4) As AOMDV does not consider relative movement between nodes can influence link stability, DEP-AOMDV protocol improved RERR packet structure, change traditional mechanism, destination address of RERR set in source node address. Add wrong pre_value flag,0value display the traditional RERR.1value tell us link is about to break.(5) Study the wrong RERR package sent mechanism, put forward prediction domain judgment formula, comprehensive consideration of node residual energy and distance, balance the distance and energy influence of RERR packets.(6) This paper using the network simulation platform of NS-2, mainly simulate the DEP-AOMDV and AOMDV, AODV protocol. Experiments show that the improved DEP-AOMDV protocol has obviously improvement in average packet delivery rate, data transmission delay, is applicable to wireless sensor network, which reach the design target.
