In recent years, the digital mobile communication technology has been rapid developedand used in various industries. According to the domains of services and applications, mobilecommunication system can be divided into private mobile communication systems andpublic mobile communication systems. Digital trunking communication system is the earlydedicated mobile system through the development and improvement of the more advancedand specialized mobile communication system. Its flexible networking modes and low costfor the group professional users can provide efficient command and dispatch services.Trunking communication system by using PTT call, which makes set-up time short, providesthe group shared forward channel, and supports a single call and group call features, iswidely used in in fire protection, public security, petrochemical, tourism, water conservancy,urban construction, electricity, mining, traffic and the number of government departments,enterprises and institutions.This study is based on detailed market research and cluster and network needs, based onidentified the needs of professional users of digital trunking communication system, guidedby the clusters of related technical standards and design principles, developed a set of GoTadigital trunking communication system based on CDMA technology overall constructionprogramme. GoTa is the meaning of the open cluster framework (Global open Trunkingarchitecture), is developed by the ZTE Corporation of China to the world’s firstCDMA-based digital trunking common network application technology cluster system, witha number of international patents and intellectual property, the trunking communicationsystem with channel sharing and rapid subsequent digital trunking features.In this paper, the GoTa digital trunking system and specific structures are discussed.The characteristics of the data cluster communication system, the history of its developmentare brief described. The most widely used four main trunking communication systems, thebackground and significance of this research are introduced in chapter I. In chapter II GoTadigital trunking communication system overview, the GoTa system characteristics andnetwork architecture are given. In chapter III the analysis of the demands for digital trunkingcommunication users is provided. And user market overview and seven customer groups aregiven. In Chapter4the establishment of GoTa digital trunking communication system as awhole including the traffic model, signaling link set, the operation control, the GoTa systemsubsystem building programs, the design and construction of communication base stations,the system switching center users’ center are presented. In the last chapter the summary andoutlook on the the GoTa system, and the GoTa system test of the assessment of the situation are given.
