Design And Development Of Computer Control System For Lime Slurry Preparation Process

Crushing process and grinding process are the most important procedures in the lime slurry preparation processing plant. Their main task is to separate the valuable minerals from the discardable gangue after physical crushing, grinding and classification, and make the lime slurry preparation process accord with the concentration and granularity requirement. The control goal is to ensure the particle size of lime slurry, but the particle size cannot measure timely, so we control the feeding pressure and concentration instead control it directly.On the background of the project of lime slurry preparation process automation project, which is built in a large scale industry at someplace, the practical application of engineering and scientific is researched, and the lime slurry preparation process control methods are studied, including control strategy and control algorithm. And the computer control system design and development of the lime slurry preparation process is developed, including the production process control system design and development, as well as process monitoring system design and development. The main work of this article reads as follows:(1) Combining the lime slurry preparation process characteristics of the large scale industry, as well as the requirements of process automation control, through the analysis of the production process, establish sump level, hydrocyclone feeding density and pressure model.Through the analysis of the model, the lime slurry preparation process control methods and logic interlocking control method is proposed. As for the process loop control method, many control methods are used, for example, hydrocyclone feeding density cascade control, hydrocyclone feeding pressure and sump level coordination control. The production process of lime slurry preparation equipment is provided with two interlocking control logic control: the single start up and shut down control of equipment; the external interlocking order control of equipment.(2) Combining the characteristics of lime slurry preparation process and control requirements, the computer control system of lime slurry preparation process is designed and developed, at the same time, the two-layer structure of process automation systems is designed, including the process control system and the process monitoring system. including system network architecture, hardware configurationg, the structure and function design of process control system, as well as the structure and function design of process monitoring system;(3) The computer controll system of designed and developed in this paper has been successfully applied to the simulation system.
