An Automatic Test Method Based On Smart Card Chip

As the smart card widely used in the finance, identification, mobile communication,transportation, medical institution and other fields, people’s requirements for functionsand security of smart cards are getting higher, and smart card technology is rapidlydeveloped and the chip of the smart card becomes more complex. So the test workloadof smart cards before chip tape-out is getting heavier. Therefore it’s important to lookfor an efficient, stable and reasonable test method.An automatic test method in order to improve the traditional smart card test systembased on a dual interface smart card chip is proposed in this dissertation. The researchmainly contains the study over the software architecture of the test platform and specificmethod of the software architecture to realize automation in test system. The testmethod is applied to FPGA hardware board-level platform and the main research is alsosuitable for system-level ASIC simulation verification platform. The test methodfocuses on module testing and system-level function testing before tape-out. It canverify the accuracy of hardware design, hardware diver and test code.
