Single Carrier Frequency Domain Equalization(SC-FDE) can both achieve high-speed communication in frequency selective channel and have lesser PAPR. The fast variation of the channel can result in biggish timing error and Doppler frequency offset, reducing the reliability of the transmission, so the problem of time-frequency synchronization in SC-FDE system should be resolved.According to the deficiencies of lower accuracy in timing and frequency offset estimation accuracy of the existing algorithms, This thesis is committed to study an algorithm based on special training sequence for the time-frequency synchronization in SC-FDE system and mainly completes the following job:In terms of frame designing, two Chu sequence having the same length with the data symbols are used as training sequence of the signal. With respect to the design of concrete algorithm, using the correlation in time domain, the coarse timing synchronization and fine frequency synchronization of the signal are achieved by a series of delay correlation and extracting phase operations for signal. After that, by some operations of FFT and diagonalization and some special related calculation for the received signal and local training sequence, the algorithm realizes coarse frequency synchronization and fine timing synchronization. It can be perceived through simulation that the scheme studied in this paper has advantages of highly precision in timing position and frequency offset estimation.
