| Nowadays, broadband wireless access technique has been an inevitable trend for wireless communication technique development. In broadband wireless communication, the multi-path effect may greatly affect the reliability of the communication performance. In contrary to the high complexity of SC-TDE (Single Carrier-Time Domain Equalization), and the high RAPR (Peak Average Power Ratio) of OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing), SC-FDE (Single Carrier-Frequency Domain Equalization) allows an advantageous of high-speed data transmission in frequency-selective fading channel. It becomes one of the most important components of the broadband wireless access technique.In this essay, firstly, the principle of the SC-FDE transmission system is analyzed. Then it is compared with the traditional OFDM transmission system in many aspects. As well the combination of these two systems is introduced. The SC-FDE effectively combines the advantages of OFDM and single carrier transmission. After that, the synchronization technique of SC-FDE systems is studied, in which, some traditional synchronization schemes are analyzed in detail. Later, based on a special structure of training sequence, a new synchronization scheme is mainly researched. At the end of this essay, according to the simulation in MATLAB, the scheme proposed in this essay is compared with other traditional schemes. Through the results of the simulation, it is obvious that the synchronization scheme mainly discussed in this essay, based on a special structure of training sequence, can precisely position the timing location and is a better choice. |
