Micro-strip patch antenna is the most typical, frequently used micro-strip antenna.This type of antenna has been used extensively because of its good characteristics, suchas thin section plane, small volume, easily manufacturing and matching with othershapes, also easily getting circular polarization and dual-frequency and dual-polarized.But, compared with other antenna, its frequency-band is much thinner, which hasbecome the main obstacle of its extensive use. So, this paper induces, discusses andanalysis the micro-strip antenna basic technologies, including miniaturization andbroadband.In the process of design, based on the micro-strip antenna technologies and the caseof the antenna working in the ISM frequency, the paper simulation study the micro-stripantenna in different permittivity and different thickness plate, in slotting patch, and inloading parasitic patch using the simulation tool HFSS from ANSOFT company.Through the numerical analysis, describe the affects of the dielectric constant, platethickness, patch slot and parasitic patch on micro-strip patch antenna size andbandwidth.
