The research of this thesis is derived from the project named as “The TechnologyResearch of Wideband HF Data Transmission”. The objective of this project is that thewideband HF burst data transmission system is designed and implemented on thehardware platform. This system of wideband HF OFDM data transmission isresearched in this thesis. And the research of design and implementation of this systembased on SOPC are emphasized on in this thesis.With the technology of software radio and System on a Programmable Chip, theSOPC implementation scheme of OFDM system in wideband HF communication isdesigned based on the FPGA hardware platform. The embedded soft-core system,which well meets this communication system’s requirements, is designed in this thesis.And the software of the communication system is designed. According to AvalonInterface Specifications, the interface (Create Component FIFO) between embeddedsoft-core and FPGA logic module is achieved.Finally, the performance of the embedded soft-core system is researched andanalyzed, which is improved by the optimization of software and hardware. Theembedded soft-core system and the interface (Create Component FIFO) are tested withModelsim simulation tools and hardware platform. And the test results show that thedesigned scheme based on SOPC and the interface (Create Component FIFO) arecorrect. The data transmission between transmitter and receiver is achieved in theembedded soft-core system.
