The Improvement Of Routing Protocolon Wireless Sensor Network Based On LEACH

Wireless Sensor Network is a new and developing information access technologywhich is considered to be one of the four pillar industries of high technology fields(sensor network, utility computing, the bionic human organs, plastic electronics) in the21st century, it has prospect deeply in many fields. But the feature that the energy ofwireless sensor networks is limited becomes the biggest hindrances. It is the key pointto save power and prolong the lifetime of network in the research of wireless sensornetwork．Based on the analysis of existing wireless sensor network routing protocol，thisessay especially focuses on the LEACH protoco1, and pointing to LEACH defects，this essay adopt k-medoids to improve the traditional LEACH protocol, and it’smain work include:(1) Detailed introduced the WSN and its development status.(2) Introduce and analyze some of the existing routing protocols，includes Flooding,SPIN, Directed Diffusion, LEACH, TEEN, etc.(3) Analyzes in detail the mechanism of the classic LEACH clustering routingprotocols，and simulate with MATLAB.(4) Adopt k-medoids to choose cluster-heads, and then have a simulation withMATLAB.
