The Design And Implementation Of MIS For Information Management Department

The Design and Implementation of Information Department Oriented ManagementSystem Information Department Management System (IDMS), as an intensive and highefficiency management solution, plays an important role in solving daily affairs, staffmanagement and so forth. With the popularity of information technologies in manyfields, office software can effectively enhance the enterprises’ management level,improve the enterprise operation efficiency, and reduce the cost of enterprisemanagement. However, as the existing enterprise management software lacks thefunctions of information department management, it cannot satisfy and deal with theoffice management requirements from information department. Also, it is negative toenhance the working efficiency of information department.In order to meet the office management demands and enhance working efficiencyof information department, in this paper, the characteristics of information departmentare analyzed. Then, Information Department Management System (IDMS) is designedand developed based on C/S structure under.NET environment. IDMS is a softwaresystem with three-layer structure which includes SQL Server as its databasemanagement system, NHibernate technique, and DES as its encryption algorithm. Themain functions of this system include: employee login and attendance management,employee information management, equipment information management, taskinformation management, task assignment, employee performance calculation,employee performance report generation and submission, and message aboard.After the testing of the trial in a certain unit of information department, it showsthat this system can effectively integrate the existing human resource and equipmentresource, promote information construction of enterprise information department, andenhance the efficiency of the task assignment, equipment management, attendancemanagement, and performance management.
