Research On Intelligent Jamming Decision-making Technology Against Phased-Array Radar

Radar jamming decision-making technology has been concerned over the world asan important factor influencing the results of wars. Today, Along with the high-techdeveloped, the intellectualization of radar jamming decision-making has become a trend.According to the characteristics of multi-function and multi-mode works of phasedarray radar, the paper proposes a method for jamming effectiveness evaluating from thejamming side. Radar state can imply the threat grade to target, and the effective ofjamming will decrease the grade to that target, so the transformation of radar state canreflect the effeteness of jamming. The state of Phased array radar can be judgedaccording to the signal features, Jamming effect can be evaluated in the side of jammer.According to the evaluation results jamming system dynamic changes interferenceknowledge base, and intelligently chooses the best interference pattern to carry out theinterference.Firstly, the working system of phased array radar is studied, the characteristics ofeach working mode are analyzed and the different parameters of various working modeare compared.The common-used jamming methods is studied in detail. The effect ofjamming to radar signal detection and radar working state is analyzed. Several classicalcriterion of jamming effect evaluation are discussed, and their shortcomings are given.A method of jamming effect evaluation based on no cooperation part is proposed. It isused in the research of intelligent jamming decision-making technology of the paper.The whole jamming decision-making system and made simulation are constructed. Theresults show that to the phased array radar, intelligent jamming decision-makingtechnology can disturb it intelligently and effectively.
