Emotional TV talk show started with the coming of social transition period. Nowadays, with the Oriental TV’s program of happy Rubik cube, Hunan satellite TV’s program of8090start to broadcast.Emotional TV talk show in the form of program and the social function presents a new development trend. This article take the program of emotional TV talk show as the object of study, in the narrative framework, combination of communication, sociology and psychology theories, along with a number of vivid case, on the comprehensive attention from theory to practice. This paper is mainly divided into five parts:The first chapter outlines the the definition and the reasons of the prosperity of emotional TV talk show.The second chapter to the fifth chapter, narrative theory is the most important theoretical support. We are going to discuss the emotional TV talk show’s morphological characteristics in four aspects, such as narrator, narrative perspective, non-language symbols, strategy of dramatic narrative.Firstly, analysis on the characteristics of the figures in emotional TV talk show, the host takes the responsibility of guiding narrative direction. At the same time, in order to realize the multi perspective narrative, the host need to coordinate with related characters. In telling stories, each of the honored guests is going to express themselves in their own way, to give people a sense of reality and intervention. Psychologist acts as "opinion leaders", plays an important role of guiding mainstream values. The audience is a narrative of the recipient, and he is also involved in the narrative of the narrator, who makes another point of interest to the audience the TV. Secondly, in the term of narrative perspective, emotional TV talk show’s narrative perspective can be divided into zero focus narrative, inner focus narrative and outside focus narrative. Thirdly, we discuss the problem of non-verbal symbols how to help with the narrative, such as the unique studio set, mirror effect and the effect of music in the program of happy Rubik cube.Lastly, analysis of the emotional TV talk show’s dramatic narrative strategy from the arrangement of conflict and suspense.The sixth chapter discusses the emotional TV talk show’s positive social function. In the social transition period, our country’s emotional TV talk show accurately identify their roles for the public, to build a free and equal communication platform for the masses, which fulfils vital functions of spiritual comforting, morality, social monitoring, promoting social assistance. The seventh chapter analyzes the existing problems of emotional TV talk shows and the suggestions are given. At present, some programs under the drive of economic interest to select the marginalized themes or cook up a story, deliberately provocative approach to cater to the audience’s peep psychology, which is not conducive to the healthy development of this program. The author thinks that only adhere to highlight the mainstream culture, adhere to the principle of truth, adhere to innovate the content and form of emotional TV talk show. we could create a harmonious public emotional home for all the people.
