A Study Of The Relationship Between Communication Modality And Psychological Contract

This study takes a comprehensive review of the existing Chinese andEnglish literature on the communication satisfaction and psychologicalcontracts. Through the learning of these theories, this study raises4main hypotheses for the relationship between communication satisfactionand psychological contracts. This study also designs surveys accordingto the standard measurement index, uses purposive sampling to conduct asurvey research on6media firms of SMG in Shanghai.The results shows that(1)the communication satisfaction of FTF is highestwhen communicating about the psychological contract.(2)there’s noabvious difference between the other three communication modality.(3)when using the same communication modality, the satisfaction isrelated to the communication content of psychological contract.This study provides guidance for the media firm to decrease the turnoverrate and manage the internal communication of employees.
