In the design of framework, it doesn’t apply memory model layer whichis always be used in graphics software, but bind the interface layer to the DataTable directly.This solution will help to reduce developing workload tremendously. The article alsoprovides a detail introduction of the design for the application layer, the database and the APIwhich are the core of the5-dimensional construction management software.The final design and implementation of software is to meet the requirements of the user to take off the amount of2D and3D models automatically and manually. User can identifythe takeoff information which related to the2D and3D model by the color and transparency.The software also provides a viewpoint function for the mark of manual takeoff which canhelp users understand the purpose and point of the manual takeoff.
