Exploring XML Based Date Exchange Platform In Design And Implementation Of Highway Information Management System

At the beginning of the information construction，the companies andgovernment constructed many systems to enhance their effieiencyaccording to their requirements. Under that moment,these systems didimprove efficiency greatly， but following with the informationconstruction,these disadvantages of disability of data exehange problembecame the important bottleneck of information.Data exehange is one of important components of all kinds ofcomputer network applocations,is the main method to remove the“information isolated island”and is also the difficulty that has to faceduring the development of informationlization. Owing to itsextensibility,structural property,validity and other superiorcapabilities,XML becomes the standard language of textual format fordescribing structural information.XML technology is not only a single criterion but a technologicalsystem including XMLSehema、DOM、XSLT、XLink、XPathetc.Theparticular advantages of XML makes it could solve main problems in field of data exchanging and information integrating,so makingresearches on data exchange platform based on XML has become themain method to remove the “information isolated island”.Based on the information resources integrating in the transportationindustry,the main researsch contnets of this dissertation wererecapitulated as follows:(1) The status of data exehange was deeply researched in thispaper.By analyzing and studying the commonly used methods of dataexchange,the strengths and weaknesses of these methods weresummarized is this paoer.(2) Based on the full understanding of xml-based knowledge，thedesign of the data exehange,the strengths and weaknesses of thesemethods were summarizad in this paper. And then both the schemamapping and the data mapping were deeply researched.(3) Realizable ways of the main modules that designed in this paperwere studied.And then the security measures that could enhance thesecurity level,such as using the dongle in the xml-based data exchange platform,were studued deeply.(4) The practicality and the stability of the xml-based exchangeplatfoem were verefied in the transportation information resourcesintegrating project of Hubei province.The practical results show that thisplatform could fully satisfy the demand of information resourcesintegration.
