In this thesis, some relatively theories, experiments about the application of1064nm/1570nm eye-safe Dual-wavelength switchable Solid-state laser were learned, and asample laser was designed. The notion of Dual-wavelength’s soft switch base on polarizationcontrol was mentioned and worked out on the laser. On the basis of the maturely technologyof Diode pumped, Nd:YAG and KTP crystal, the Corner cube prism polarization couplingresonator designed by ourselves, Ring cavity OPO and the technology of Dual-wavelength’ssoft switch base on polarization control by electricity, a mini-type, high efficiency,1064nm/1570nm Dual-wavelength switchable Solid-state laser which can work in execrableenvironment was designed, and several key technologies contains mini-size, light, highreliable, highly OPO conversion efficiency, and stabile output were worked out.The contents are as follows:(1) Simply introducing the background of eye-safe Dual-wavelength switchableSolid-state laser, and the development, and analyzing the main methods of the eye-safe laseroutput.(2) The theory of the Corner cube prism polarization coupling resonator was learned.The latent polarization of the Corner cube prism resonator was got by using Jones Matrix,and the thoughts of high energy electro-optic Q-switch polarization laser output by thepolarization coupling technology of the Corner cube prism was also proved. The trait of theoutput was learned by using velocity equation, and also analyzed the effect of revolving theCorner cube prism on output energy and pulse width.(3) The theory of the Ring cavity OPO was learned. Using the basic theory of matrixoptical to analyze the running characteristic of the Ring cavity OPO, and gain someimportant parameters, such as its stable work field, the nonlinear process and the best pumpenergy.(4) Some relevant experiments were done to study the Corner cube prism polarizationcoupling resonator, especially the capability at the repeat frequency mode, such as thestability of output energy, the point of the optical axis, and the divergence angle.(5) Some relevant experiments were done to study the Ring cavity OPO, such as theOPO output energy, conversion efficiency, the quality of the beam and the stabilization. (6) An eye-safe Dual-wavelength switchable DPL was designed which contains thepump module, Ring cavity OPO and Dual-wavelength switch, we also started a discussionabout reinforce the DPL.(7) Some relevant tests were done to study the properties of the eye-safeDual-wavelength switchable DPL, such as the output energy, pulse width, repeat frequency,divergence angle, and so on. For the truly appliance, we also done some environment tests,such as high temperature work and low temperature work, vibrancy, concussion, humidity.
