With the rapid development of integrated circuits, embedded systems have beenexpanded into all aspects of social life. The traditional embedded system softwaredevelopment model has been behind the development of the embedded equipment. Inorder to meet the needs of embedded system software development, open softwaredevelopment environment has become to an inevitable trend. In the open environment, alldivision of the whole industry chain collaboration to complete all aspects of product R&D,reduce unnecessary resource consumption, speed up product development cycles, improvesystem stability and ensure product quality.This paper proposes a lightweight application development environment for the openrequirements in embedded system development. This environment is based on messagebus architecture, and cut the entire system into each individual module, which runs in aseparate process. And design a high-level graphics library for embedded system, based ongraphical components, we implement the graphics drawing and message processing in oneto simplify the work for adding advanced graphics controls. Then combine the two withthe process of message into the main framework for embedded applications, simplify theimplementation of embedded system applications and improve the development efficiency.Finally, we use the public key mechanisms to sign the application software for theapplication software updates, verify the credibility of sources, and protect the system anduser’s private data against the outside of the application of malicious damage.In the actual product development process, we use this lightweight design applicationdevelopment environment for an early developed IPSTB in closed-end and single-mode todo the secondary development. From the development cycle, product stability and UIdesign renderings, we validate the entire system functions and analyse its performance inthe actual research and development.
