Research Of Component-based Workflow Technology

With the increasing demand for office information, people began to apply the workflowmechanism, use component-based technology to develop in the process of buildingenterprise information systems. The Ministry of Public Security proposed the building of theGolden Shield Project in order to improve the efficiency of public security work andinvestigating cases. Because there are many complex-business systems, applying thecomponent-based workflow technology in the development of detention informationmanagement system can guarantee the progress and effectiveness of development.In this article, the outline of workflow technology and software component technologywere introduced, and the functional requirements of detention information managementsystem combined with regulatory information platform were analyzed, and the decision toapply component-based workflow technology were made. Then, the style of the systemstructure were selected, the architecture of the system platform were designed,component-based development were demonstrated. On the basis of the overall design, thecomponents of the system framework, universal service components and commoncomponents in the field of public security supervision were designed and implemented.Besides, workflow Use Case, JBPM workflow-based component architecture, database ofworkflow-based component, application interface and implementation of workflowcomponents were designed. And strict control business in this system were developed andcombined with service components. The available components were assembled to completethe assembly of the system, and the running of strict control business processes wereachieved.The testing of strict control business of this system demonstrated that applyingcomponent-based workflow technology to develop this system is correct. There also areinadequacies, we could make further package of workflow components to developlarge-grained components in the latter work.
